Kurtis Fray

Kurtis Fray has extensive experience in the energy sector, with a career spanning over two decades. Beginning as a Power Engineer at TransAlta, Kurtis operated a large coke-fired cogeneration facility and progressed through various roles in utilities. Subsequently, Kurtis worked as a Process Operator at Suncor Energy, focusing on crude unit and reformer operations. At Shell, Kurtis held multiple titles, including Turnaround Operations Planner for both the Tank Farm/Flare and Atmospheric and Vacuum Unit, where responsibilities included developing optimized plans for significant turnaround events. Additionally, Kurtis contributed to digital transformation efforts through involvement in digital twin product development. Kurtis holds a degree in Power Engineering Technology from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology.
