Leonardo Carvalho is currently the Wells Engineering Program Manager at Shell, having previously held the positions of Wells Digital | Completions Engineer and Completions Technology Engineer. Prior to joining Shell in 2024, they gained relevant experience as a Completions and Well Interventions Field Engineer at Welltec from 2014 to 2019 and as an Open Hole Wireline Field Engineer at Weatherford from 2012 to 2014. They also volunteered through the International Work Exchange Program between 2011 and 2012 and began their career as a Process Manufacturing Technician at Prysmian Group in 2009. Leonardo earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Petroleum Engineering from Universidade Vila Velha in 2010 and completed a course on Systems Engineering Fundamentals at Caltech in 2023.
