Luc Spitholt

Luc Spitholt is a seasoned Maintenance, Turnaround, and Construction Manager with extensive experience in the oil and chemicals sectors. They served as a Technologist and later as a Long Term Technologist at SAPREF, contributing to unit monitoring and project development from 1996 to 1999. Luc held various managerial roles at Shell from 2013 to 2022, including HSSE Manager at the Pernis Refinery, where they led a team focused on health, safety, security, and environment policies. Additionally, they were responsible for production logistics, refinery movements, and chemical operations, overseeing significant teams and operational scales. Luc earned a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from Twente University and holds a cum laude degree from Veluws College.
