Malte Duis

Malte Duis is an accomplished security professional with extensive experience in corporate and public sector roles. Since June 2012, Malte has been with Shell, currently serving as Corporate Security Strategy Manager, where responsibilities include managing group-level security risks and developing strategic initiatives. Previous roles at Shell involved regional and cluster security management across Europe, the CIS, and Sub-Saharan Africa, focusing on threat assessment and risk mitigation. Prior to Shell, Malte served the Hamburg Police from April 2003 to May 2012, providing tactical advice in severe violent crime cases, coordinating responses to public threats, and overseeing personal protection operations. Malte holds a Master of Laws in Business Law, a certificate in International Relations and National Security Studies, and a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice/Police Science.
