Marco Verlaan is an accomplished engineer with extensive experience in enhanced oil recovery and reservoir engineering. They began their career as a Senior Scientist at Halliburton, developing water and gas shutoff solutions, before serving as a Senior Reservoir Engineer at Horizon Energy Partners. From 2012 to 2017, Marco held the role of Principal Research Reservoir Engineer at Shell, focusing on heavy oil projects in Canada.
