Marieke Loos is an accomplished materials engineer with extensive experience in metallurgy and corrosion. Marieke began a professional career at ABB Lummus Global as a Metallurgy Engineer from January 1997 to December 2000. Following this, Marieke served as a Materials Technology Engineer at Huntsman Polyurethanes from March 2001 to December 2007. More recently, in May 2020, Marieke held the positions of Senior Materials and Corrosion Engineer and Materials & Corrosion Engineer at Shell. Marieke holds a Master of Science degree in Materials Engineering from Delft University of Technology, completed between 1988 and 1995.
