Martijn Gorissen

Martijn Gorissen has over a decade of experience in geoscience, holding key positions in various companies including EBN as a Geoscientist, Shell as a Senior Exploration Geoscientist in the MENA and EMEA teams, and Brunei Shell Petroleum as a Principal Explorationist. Responsibilities have spanned projects involving Cretaceous gas plays, HPHT reservoirs, and carbonate geology, with notable achievements in data integration and the identification of infill and new field exploration potentials. Prior to these roles, Martijn gained experience at Wintershall Noordzee BV as a Geological Consultant and NAM BV as an Exploration Geoscientist, with foundational training in palynology and paleontology during an internship at Universiteit Utrecht and a role at TNO. Martijn holds a Master's degree in Earth Sciences from Universiteit Utrecht, along with a background in Physics and Astronomy.
