Mary Colledge

Mary Colledge is a seasoned maritime professional with a diverse background in incident assessment and maritime assurance. Currently serving as a Maritime Incidents Assessor at Shell, Mary contributes to the Incident Risk Management Team by enhancing consistency in incident investigation ratings and collaborating with subject matter experts to optimize learning from incidents. Prior experience includes implementing HSSE standards in Downstream Maritime Assurance and acting as an OFAC assessor to investigate deceptive shipping practices. Mary began a career in maritime with roles as a Navigation Officer and Deck Officer Cadet, and holds a Foundation degree in Marine Operations from Warsash Maritime Academy and a degree in Marine and Freshwater Biology from the University of Essex.
