Matthew Bowman

Matthew Bowman is a seasoned Deepwater Drilling & Completions Engineer at Shell, with a career spanning from August 2014 to the present. His roles at Shell have included Staff Engineer in the Deepwater Materials Office, Completion Engineer, Completions Supervisor, and Well Intervention Engineer in various regions, including the Permian and Appalachia. Prior to this, Matthew gained experience as a Project Engineering Intern at Shell, where contributions included a Modularization Study to optimize labor market constraints and a shipping strategy for essential reactors in the Gas-to-Liquids process. Early in the career, Matthew served as a Mechanical Facilities Intern at Wood Group Mustang, managing equipment documentation for an offshore platform. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin, earned in 2014.
