Matthew Newman

Matthew Newman is a Senior Petrophysicist with over 20 years of experience in petrophysics, operational logging, and geotechnical engineering. They have worked with prominent companies, including Shell and Petroleum Development Oman, taking on responsibilities such as leading petrophysical evaluations and data interpretation for complex reservoir developments. Currently, at Shell, Matthew focuses on various aspects of petrophysical operations while actively mentoring junior staff and implementing new technologies. They hold a Master of Engineering degree in Civil Engineering from The University of Manchester.
