Matthew Poole

Matthew Poole is a Senior Exploration Geologist at Shell, focused on international exploration of unconventional resources, particularly in Argentina's Vaca Muerta. Prior to Shell, they held roles at BG Group as a senior geologist, where they managed exploration, license management, and well delivery in the North Sea and contributed to North American unconventional projects. Matthew also served as a Senior Geologist at Pioneer Natural Resources Company, working on various projects across Tunisia, Texas, and the Eagle Ford Shale. With a diverse background in both conventional and unconventional exploration, Matthew has developed a unique skill set centered on the delivery of hydrocarbons.
