Melanie Larson

Melanie Larson is the Managing Counsel for M&A Americas at Shell, where they oversee a legal team handling major mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures across various business lines. Prior to this role, Larson served as Senior Legal Counsel at Shell from 2012 to 2021, leading significant mergers and divestments. They also held positions as Senior Counsel at Bracewell & Giuliani LLP from 2005 to 2012 and as an Associate at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP & Affiliates from 2002 to 2005. Currently, Larson is pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree with a double major in Economics and Biology, alongside a certificate in Neuroscience at Duke University.
