Mercè Vintró Ricart is an experienced professional in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and machine learning, currently serving as Manager of NLP Research at Shell since April 2018, having previously held the position of Senior NLP Data Scientist there. Prior to that, Mercè worked as an R&D Engineer in Machine Learning and NLP at Gluru from September 2016 to March 2018. Educationally, Mercè holds a degree from Universitat Pompeu Fabra obtained between 2011 and 2015, as well as a postgraduate qualification from The University of Edinburgh from 2015 to 2016.
