Merel Oostveen

Merel Oostveen is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the energy and technology sectors, currently serving as a Commercial Manager for Project Development in Renewable Natural Gas at Shell since October 2014. Previously, Merel held various roles at Shell including Business Advisor for technology and future assets, and Researcher specializing in hydrogen, along with serving as a Technologist during the Turn Around at Pearl GTL. Merel's work includes a secondment to Nature Energy as a Business Development Manager focusing on green gas project development in the Netherlands. Prior experience includes internships at DSM Sinochem Pharmaceuticals and DSM, and a role as a Teaching Assistant at Stichting Studiebegeleiding Leiden. Merel holds a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering and dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Molecular Science and Technology from Delft University of Technology and Leiden University, respectively. Additional education includes language studies at Don Quichote language institute in Spain and a Gymnasium diploma from PENTA College CSG Jacob van Liesveldt.
