Michael has extensive experience in geomatics and data management, serving as the Team Lead at Shell from March 2014 to July 2025, where responsibilities included leading a team focused on geomatics and technical data management in Brazil. Prior to this role, Michael worked at Fugro Brasil for over twelve years, progressing from Senior Surveyor to Chief Surveyor and contributing to the development of competencies in the Survey Division. Additional experience includes serving as Survey Coordinator at Bandeirantes Dragagem and as Oceanographer/Surveyor at Hidrotopo Consultoria e Projetos. Michael holds a BSc in Oceanography from Universidade do Estado Rio de Janeiro and a Project Management degree from FUNCEFET.
