Michele Kropilak possesses extensive experience in environmental compliance and permitting, primarily within the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection. From January 2002 to January 2021, Michele served as Region Supervisor and later as Bureau Manager, leading teams responsible for enforcing land use regulations and managing compliance operations. Prior roles included Lab Certification Officer, where compliance inspections were conducted for over 350 laboratories, and Project Manager overseeing permit applications across various land use projects. Currently, Michele holds the position of Director of Permitting and Environmental at both Shell and Savion and acts as State Permitting Lead for Atlantic Shores Offshore Wind, focusing on regulatory navigation and stakeholder engagement for major offshore wind initiatives. Michele earned a BA in Biology from Drew University.
