Mike Smith

Mike Smith, P.E. is an accomplished Engineering Manager with a 28-year career at Shell and its joint ventures, marked by significant achievements across upstream, midstream, and downstream sectors. Currently serving as the Engineering Manager for Upstream Americas, Mike delivers integrated engineering support to Shell's deepwater assets in the Gulf of Mexico and Brazil. Previously, they held various managerial roles, including Reliability Manager in Downstream Chemicals and Products, and Brazil Asset Support Manager for Upstream Deepwater, where they drove business improvements and fostered collaboration. Mike holds a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Civil Engineering from Purdue University and Louisiana State University, respectively.
