Moataz Assayed

Moataz Assayed has over 16 years of experience in the lubricants industry, currently serving as the Global Category Manager at Shell since March 2007. In this role, Moataz oversees B2B sales operations with full accountability for P&L, OPEX, and SP&A, while leading and coaching a team of sales account managers and business development managers across Egypt. Previous roles at Shell include Head of Marketing for Shell Lubricants Egypt and Global B2B Channel Marketing Manager. Moataz has also held the position of Lubricants Technical Advisor/Technical Coach and Key Account Manager, where responsibilities included market research and sales demand forecasting. Prior experience includes a role as Lubricants Sales Engineer at TOTAL from October 2004 to March 2007. Moataz holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Cairo University and is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration from The University of Edinburgh.
