Monique Krom

Monique Krom, PhD, is the Technology Programme Manager for Low Carbon Fuels at Shell Global Solutions International BV, a role they have held since 2023. They were previously a Team Lead in various capacities at Shell, overseeing projects in gas processing technology, product application, and business performance, among others. Monique began their career at Shell in 2010 as a Process Technologist and later served as a Research Chemist, focusing on higher olefins and derivatives at Stanlow Refinery. They earned their PhD in Chemistry from Radboud Universiteit Nijmegen in 2003 and hold an MSc in Chemistry from Universiteit van Amsterdam.
