Nathan Tuckwell

Nathan Tuckwell is a seasoned professional in the oil and gas industry with extensive experience at Shell since July 2008, currently serving as the Well Operations Team Lead (WOTL). In this role, Nathan optimizes resources, implements best practices, leads HSSE programs, and manages risk to reduce Non-Productive Time (NPT). As a Managed Pressure Drilling Subject Matter Expert, Nathan has effectively managed the design, planning, and execution of MPD operations on Deepwater drilling rigs. Prior experience includes positions as Drilling Superintendent for the Permian Basin, Rig Start-Up Superintendent for Shell Canada’s Carmon Creek project, and Staff Drilling Supervisor, where Nathan was recognized for driving innovation in drilling efficiency and safety. With a foundation at Nabors Industries as a Driller, Nathan has received accolades for outstanding performance, including achieving 940 Goal Zero days through the implementation of advanced technologies.
