Nathan Williams

Nathan Williams has extensive experience in both academia and the energy sector, holding roles that leverage expertise in engineering and management. At Shell Trading, Nathan served as Portfolio Manager from July 2007 to April 2021 and currently holds the position of Manager of Structured Solutions since April 2021. Prior to this, Nathan was a Supervisor in Rockies Trading at Shell Energy North America and an Instructor at the United States Naval Academy, teaching courses in operations research, optimization, and mechanical engineering. Nathan also served as Company Commander for the Naval Mobile Construction Battalion Four in the United States Navy from May 2003 to May 2005. Nathan's educational background includes a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland, an MBA from The University of Texas at Arlington - College of Business, and multiple degrees from the Naval Postgraduate School, including MSME and MS ITM, alongside a BSME from the United States Naval Academy.
