Nigel Mitchell

Nigel Mitchell is currently a Research Geophysicist at Shell, where they develop advanced imaging capabilities and processing workflows. Prior to this role, Nigel worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Vienna, contributing to the FLASH hydrodynamics group and mentoring Ph.D. students. With a PhD in Theoretical Astrophysics and an MSci in Physics & Astronomy from Durham University, Nigel has a robust educational background in the sciences and a proven track record of collaboration and communication across diverse teams. Nigel has also presented internationally on innovative research in geophysics and regularly leads workshops to share best practices.
