Nilesh Maharaj is currently the Well Operations Team Lead at Shell, having progressed from a Well Engineer in 2016 to their current role in 2025. Nilesh previously worked at BG Group from 2011 to 2016 as a Well Engineer and at Halliburton as a Well Planning Engineer from 2008 to 2011. Earlier experience includes a role as a Drilling Engineer at Ten Degrees North Energy Limited in 2007-2008. Nilesh is pursuing a Master's degree in Petroleum Engineering and has completed a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine Campus.
