Oleg Medvedev

Oleg Medvedev, MSc, P.Eng, is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, currently serving as a Principal Wells Engineer at Shell since September 2008. In this role, Oleg focuses on horizontal well completions and interventions design, ensuring compliance with Shell and local standards. Prior positions at Shell include Senior Wells Engineer and Operations Wells Engineer, where Oleg was responsible for various aspects of well design, planning, and execution, along with team leadership. Oleg's previous experience includes roles at Calfrac Well Services, Halliburton, Canadian Fracmaster/BJ Services, and Vakh Fracmaster, emphasizing hydraulic fracturing and related engineering disciplines. Oleg holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Moscow Polytechnic University.
