Onur Tosun is an experienced physicist and research scientist with a Ph.D. in Physics, specializing in materials science and experimental physics. Currently serving as a Senior Scientist at both Brown & Root Industrial Services, LLC and Shell, Onur is dedicated to discovering new materials for applications in energy harvesting, quantum technologies, and information technology. Previously, Onur held postdoctoral positions at Rice University and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where significant contributions were made to the development of magnetic nanomaterials and advanced fabrication techniques. With a commitment to sustainability and innovation, Onur has honed expertise in a range of techniques including XRD, SEM-EDS, and Raman Spectroscopy, continually striving to catalyze change and address complex scientific challenges.
