Owain Tucker

Owain Tucker is an expert in carbon capture and storage (CCS), currently serving as a Principal Technical Expert in Carbon Storage at Shell. With a distinguished career, they have managed various global CCS projects and contributed significantly to the development of carbon storage capabilities within the company. Owain has held roles ranging from Senior Reservoir Engineer to Global Deployment Leader for CO2 storage at Shell, and currently serves as an Honorary Associate Professor at Heriot-Watt University. They also hold positions on the board of the UK Carbon Capture and Storage Research Centre and have extensive educational qualifications, including a D.Phil. in Solid State Physics from the University of Oxford.
