Owen O'Connell

Owen O'Connell has extensive experience in information and digital technology within the energy sector, currently serving as SVP and CIO for Information Digital Services & Operations at Shell since March 2007. O'Connell has held various leadership roles at Shell, including SVP & CIO Upstream and Projects & Technology, and has been instrumental in managing IT value delivery for Crude, Products, and Operations systems. Prior to Shell, O'Connell was Applications Support Manager at Serco Solutions and held project and application management positions at Cable & Wireless Communications and IBM UK Ltd. Owen O'Connell holds a BSc (Hons) in Medical Chemistry from Newcastle University.
