Pascal Coenen is the Chairman of the European Ethylene Producers Committee at Cefic (European Chemical Industry Council) and has been in this role since 2020. They previously served as Team Lead of the Base Chemicals Center of Expertise at Shell from 2016 to 2025, following six years as Licensing Technical Manager and Business Development Manager at Shell Global Solutions International B.V. From 1992 to 2004, they gained experience in process technology at ABB Lummus Global B.V. Pascal earned a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from Eindhoven University of Technology, completing their studies in 1992.
