Patrick Killough is a retired Senior Researcher in Optical Spectroscopy at Shell International Exploration and Production, where they worked from 1988 until their retirement in 2018. They also served as a Staff Research Chemist at Shell Global Solutions and were associated with Los Alamos Laboratory as a Postdoc in Isotope and Nuclear Chemistry from 1985 to 1988. Patrick holds a Bachelor's degree and a PhD in Chemistry, both from Texas A&M University. Their specialties include infrared and Raman spectroscopies, as well as microscopies.
