Paul Mather

Paul Mather is an experienced professional in risk management and finance, currently serving as Head of Security NextGen ERP and Group Head of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) at Shell since 2006. In this role, Mather is responsible for designing and implementing Shell's Risk Management Framework, providing strategic direction, and ensuring compliance with corporate governance requirements. Previous positions include Global Head of Operational Risk, Governance & Assurance for Trading & Supply at Shell, and Finance Director at Shell International Petroleum Company Limited. Prior to Shell, Mather held the role of Finance Director at Boston Scientific and served as Assistant Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Mather holds a PhD in Chemistry and a degree in Chemistry from Newcastle University.
