Paul Tricker

Paul Tricker is currently the Play Evaluation and Opportunity Lead at Shell, bringing 25 years of UK and international experience in oil and gas exploration. With a strong background in regional play analysis and basin-scale Greenfield evaluation, they have successfully contributed to drilling activities across diverse upstream environments, from Greenfield deepwater to onshore exploration. Paul previously held various senior roles at Petroleum Development Oman and Shell, where they excelled in project coordination, team leadership, and innovative prospect generation. They earned a BSc (Hons) in Geology from the University of Nottingham and a PhD in Geology from the University of Southampton.
