Paul Wagner is a retired Lead Carbonate Geologist for Shell, where they held the position of CaSPER Project Lead focusing on carbonate exploration and basin play screening from 2011 until retirement. Prior to that, they served as the Lead Carbonate Geologist for Shell Group from 2005 to 2009 and worked in various roles, including Manager of Carbonate Expertise and Team Lead for Geology and Geophysics in the Grosmont Venture. Wagner earned a Ph.D. in Carbonate Geology from Brown University between 1978 and 1982.
