Peter Lorbeer is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, and legal compliance within the energy sector. Currently serving as Associate Counsel (M&A) at Shell since May 2008, Peter has led numerous high-profile transactions and oversees a team of lawyers while advising on various legal issues affecting Shell's operations in Australia and the Asia-Pacific region. Previously, Peter held leadership roles such as Associate General Counsel and Director, managing legal services and compliance programs across the organization's upstream business. Peter's earlier experience includes senior legal positions at Shell Gas & Power and a foundational role at Freehills.
