Pieter Hendriks

Pieter Hendriks is currently the Structures Discipline Lead at Shell, where they have been since July 2007, responsible for leading the offshore structures engineering team in Sarawak Shell Berhad, Malaysia. Previously, from 2015 to 2020, they managed the Brent Decommissioning Project, overseeing the safe and efficient removal of topsides. Pieter launched their career at ABB Lummus Global as a Lead Structural Engineer from 1997 to 2006, working on various oil and gas design projects. They hold a Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from Delft University of Technology, completed in 1997.
