Pieter Huver

Pieter Huver is a Senior Explorer at Shell International with over 16 years of experience in the oil and gas exploration sector. Their expertise spans the full exploration lifecycle, including roles in onshore and offshore ventures across Africa, Asia, and Europe. Most recently, Pieter served as the Business Opportunity Manager in Egypt, overseeing Shell's onshore exploration portfolio. Pieter's technical skills encompass advanced 3D seismic interpretation, well and seismic operations planning, and mentoring young professionals in the field. They hold a Master’s degree in Geology from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Geography from the University of Amsterdam.
