Pieter Popma is currently engaged in electrification business development at Shell, where they have held various positions, including Sr. Electrification Solutions Integrator and Technologist Electrification. Pieter began their career as an Energy Engineer at Tebodin from 2009 to 2013 and contributed to Tata Steel as a secondee during that same period. Their earlier experiences include working as a CO2 & Energy efficiency consultant at Shell Global Solutions from 2013 to 2016 and completing a final thesis at ECN in 2008. Pieter holds both a Master's and Bachelor's degree from Delft University of Technology. Additionally, they gained international experience through a humanitarian internship with Westerveld Conservation Trust in Kenya in 2007.
