Qiushuo Su

Qiushuo (Sue) Su is an experienced data scientist and machine learning engineer with expertise in natural language processing and data analysis. Currently at Shell since March 2022, contributions include developing a backend API that integrates OCR and NLP machine learning, testing LLM models on historical data, and implementing a Retrieval-Augmented Generation system that improved retrieval accuracy by 40%. Prior experience includes a role at TensorIoT Inc. as a machine learning engineer, where data collection and ETL flow design were key responsibilities. At CGG, significant work involved processing large-scale seismic data and applying statistical algorithms for data quality control. Educational background includes a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Georgia Institute of Technology and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Houston, complemented by a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and Automation from Nanjing University of Science and Technology.
