Rakesh Upadhyay

Rakesh Upadhyay has extensive experience in the chemical and energy sectors, specializing in production management, process engineering, and supply chain excellence. Rakesh's career began at Siel Chemical Complex as an Assistant Manager in Production, followed by roles at Reliance and Foster Wheeler focused on process design engineering. Rakesh advanced to UOP, serving as both Design Engineer & Team Lead and Six Sigma Lean Expert, where significant contributions to process optimization and quality management were made. Subsequently, Rakesh held several leadership positions at Shell, including Supply Chain Lead for major deepwater projects, focusing on contract management, procurement, and global category management solutions. Rakesh holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from Dr. S.S. Bhatnagar UICET, an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow, and a Six Sigma Lean Expert certification from Honeywell.
