Randall Petty

Petty is a retired technology manager with a 32-year career in the petroleum and chemical industries, including leadership roles at Texaco R&D, Texaco Research, AkzoNobel, and Shell Projects & Technology. They served as Project Chemist at Texaco R&D (1978–1986), Hydrotreating Development Manager at AkzoNobel (1986–1989), and Regional Manager for Shell Projects & Technology (1998–2010). They are a board member of the Shell Alumni Association of Greater Houston. They earned a BS in Chemistry from the University of North Texas in 1973 and a PhD in Inorganic Chemistry from Rice University in 1978.
