Ren Xianfang is a seasoned economist with extensive experience in the energy sector. At BG Group, Ren served as Chief China Market Economist from October 2013 to June 2016. Following this role, Ren worked at Shell from January 2020 to December 2019, holding positions as Senior Energy Advisor and Head of China Gas Strategy & Portfolio. Prior to these roles, Ren was a Senior China Economist at IHS Global Insight from August 2006 to October 2013. Ren holds two Master's degrees in International Business from The George Washington University, obtained between 2004 and 2006.
