Rene Bos

Rene Bos is a seasoned expert in chemical and industrial reaction engineering with over 30 years of experience at Shell, where current responsibilities include serving as Senior Principal Science Expert and leading a team of over 20 researchers in exploratory and explanatory R&D for Gas-to-Liquids technologies. Prior roles at Shell encompass positions as Principal Technologist, Principal Process Integrator for Emerging Technologies, and Senior Research Technologist, among others. Additionally, Rene Bos contributes to academia as a guest professor in Industrial Reaction Engineering at Ghent University. Academic qualifications include a Doctorate in Chemical Reaction Engineering and a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, both obtained from the University of Twente.
