Richard Baker possesses extensive experience in the energy sector, having held various senior roles at Shell from September 2016 to April 2022, including Senior Energy Advisor, M&A Business Development Advisor, and Deepwater Strategy & Portfolio Advisor. Prior to this, Richard served as Lead Development Geologist for BG Group in Tanzania and as Development Geologist in Brazil from September 2009 to August 2016. Earlier in Richard's career, a position as Post-Doctoral Researcher was held at Imperial College London from January to September 2009. Richard Baker earned a PhD in Geochemistry from Imperial College London and a MESci in Earth Sciences from the University of Oxford.
