Richard Burton

Richard Burton is a data analyst and geologist with four years of industry experience in hydrocarbon exploration and development, geotechnical and environmental consulting, and new energies. They began their career at Geo-Environmental Services Limited as a Geo-Environmental Technician and later moved to Shell, where they held various roles including Senior Data Consultant and Product Manager focused on decarbonisation. Richard earned a Bachelor of Science in Geology from the University of Birmingham and a Master’s Degree in Petroleum Geoscience from Royal Holloway, University of London, where they achieved a distinction.
