Richard Gaughan is currently involved in Low Carbon Fuels Origination at Shell, where they focus on trading and supply. Previously, they served as Business Development Director from 2015 to 2019, delivering new growth opportunities. They were also a Global Team Leader for Biodiesel Trading and held various leadership roles in products trading within Central and South America. Richard began their career at Shell through the Trading Graduate Scheme, which included a rotation through multiple operational roles. Richard earned an MEng in Chemical Engineering and an MA Hons from the University of Cambridge between 1996 and 2000.
