Richard Molenaar

Richard Molenaar is a seasoned commodity trade operator and laytime specialist, currently serving as a Commercial Operator MD at Shell since 2022. With extensive experience in cargo coordination, contract management, and logistical optimization, Richard has held various positions, including Senior Vessel Operator and Supervisor of Coal and Freight Logistics at Vattenfall from 2017 to 2021. Prior to that, Richard worked in sales support and inventory management roles at Orange and InFocus International. Richard holds a Master's degree in Science in Management from Nyenrode Business Universiteit and a Bachelor's degree in Logistics from Hogeschool van Amsterdam.
