Richie Evans

Richie Evans currently serves as the Interim Head of Global Data Protection & Privacy at Shell, following a role as Chief Privacy Officer & DPO at ESW where significant privacy strategies and compliance measures were implemented. Previously, Richie held the position of Chief Privacy Officer at Adevinta, managing data privacy across various brands and leading cross-jurisdictional teams. Richie's prior experience includes a tenure at IKEA, directing major GDPR and non-EU data privacy projects, and a significant role at Deloitte as Associate Director, enhancing global privacy compliance for private sector clients. Early career experiences involved compliance management at the DMA UK and account management at Mondi Group. Richie holds a degree in German & Management Studies from the University of Leeds.
