Robbert van Rutten

Robbert Van Rutten has been with Shell since 1998, occupying various leadership roles in Information Technology and digital strategy, culminating in the position of Executive Vice President Information and Digital Technology & Shell CIO since June 2006. Prior roles include Senior Vice President & Downstream CIO, Vice President for multiple functions including Downstream and Global Functions, and roles focused on Enterprise IT Strategy and Security. Robbert Van Rutten holds an MBA from TIAS School for Business and Society, obtained between 2007 and 2009, demonstrating a strong background in both business management and technical IT leadership.
