Robert W. J. has extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, currently serving as the Deep Water New Basin Evaluation Manager and New Business Development Manager at Shell since October 2016. Previously, Robert held various positions at BG Group from July 2004 to October 2016, including Head of Exploration in Kenya, Subsurface Team Leader, and Consultant Geophysicist. Earlier in the career, Robert worked as a Principal Geophysicist and Lead Geophysicist in different capacities, focusing on international projects in West Africa and Nigeria. Prior experience includes a role as an Exploration Geophysicist at Maersk Oil from August 2001 to July 2004. Robert holds an MSc in Petroleum Geoscience from Imperial College London and a BSc (Hons) in Geology from Cardiff University, along with a Certificate in Leadership and Management from CMI.
