Ron Averill

Ron Averill is currently the Regional HSSE Manager - Americas at Shell Chemical LP, a position they have held since 2018. Prior to this, they served as the HSSE Compliance & Assurance Manager at Shell Lubricants from 2010 to 2017 and held several safety-related roles, including Corporate HSSE Advisor at Criterion Catalysts from 2005 to 2010 and HSSE Advisor from 2001 to 2005. Ron's early career includes positions as a Safety Engineer at Amoco Petroleum Additives Co and Millennium Inorganic Chemicals, as well as a Safety and Environmental Specialist at Lomac, Inc. They hold a Master’s in Business Administration from Lake Erie College and a BS in Occupational Safety and Health Management from Grand Valley State University, along with an Associate’s degree in Science from Oakland Community College.
