Ryan Nieszner is an experienced drilling supervisor with a background in petroleum technology. After starting a career as a student frac engineer at Trican Well Service Ltd. in 2011, Ryan joined Shell in April 2012. Currently, Ryan supervises HPHT deepwater exploration drilling operations with the Shell Egypt team, contributing to projects since 2023. Prior to this role, Ryan managed drilling operations across the USA, Mexico, Colombia, and Suriname with the Shell Deepwater Exploration West team from 2019 to 2023. Ryan holds a degree in Petroleum Technology/Technician from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology, earned between 2009 and 2012.
